Well, its been a long month and our most productive to date. After
being stuck on our first set for nearly three months we have finally
finished all the shots we needed and managed to get nearly six scenes in
the bag. Zach and I took an entire week off (from our real jobs, that
is) to get as much work done on the flick as possible. All together we
got about 8 minutes worth of footage done. That's eight out of a total
thirty we need to complete the film. The good news is that we are
working more often and for longer periods of time. Which means that the
proposed 2009 release may just be plausible.

Now, I know you're all waiting for another video blog from the great
Devon Decker and rest assured its coming. It should be up in about a week or so. What we do have for you is some new features on the site compliments of
the awesome and sassy Crystal Fenner. We added a current project
section so you can get the latest on the up coming Prime Time 3 movie
and other projects we're working on. We'll also have the Shop page up and running in the next month or so. Sorry for the vague date but with being an independent studio it takes alot of time to get the images registered and printed onto the shirts. The designs are awesome and include hilarious quotes from our movie Stickfas: War in Pieces.

On a completely random note we've got a little gift for you guys.
And here it is:
Insert 2000th clip
It's the 2000th frame of animation we took. We've gotten over 7500
frames already which more than triples the animation count for Prime
Time 2 and just about doubles that of Stickfas: War in Pieces. Also added
are some still shots from the movie. Find more behind the scenes stills
over at our Current Projects page. Enjoy.

Welcome to Eyeson's new home on the highway of super information. We have not only got our own website but also legally taken the name Eyeson Entertainment. That means we can finally.... get back to work on Prime Time 3; which I am sorry to say is coming along rather slowly. To say that we haven't gotten "any" work done is an exaggeration and to say that we have abandoned the project would be an even further stretch of the truth.
That being said I am regretting slapping that "2009" statement at the end of the announcement trailer. Now I am not saying that we are slacking or being neglectful of your need to see plastic robots clash in a majestic display of articulation and ... dismember-cation? (yeah that one got away from me) Zach and I are actually taking sometime off our full time jobs next month to sit down and focus all our attention on banging out as much footage as possible.

Speaking of footage I have to say, upon reviewing what we have shot so far I am amazed people can actually be impressed with the previous work we've put out over the years. Call me a nit-picker but some our earlier work seems sloppy in comparison. Even my favorite of our flicks is starting to age before my eyes.

With mention of War in Pieces I will make a swift change of topic to a recent screening that our good friend and pseudo Eyeson Entertainment publicist; Devon Decker, signed us up for. To call it a screening would be wrong and I will explain why. We arrived at what seemed to be an old church. Zach immediatly cringed at the thought of bursting into a blaze of fire and brimstone upon setting foot inside the doors of the lords house. It turns out the lord was out that day which meant our skinny producer escaped with his life; which is exactly what it felt like when we left. Our short Stickfas War in Pieces was shown between two other films. I guess whoever was running said screening thought our film would fit right in with a drama about post traumatic stress disorder and a documentary about the evils of George W. Bush and his war in Iraq. Yeah, whoever this person was I think they were indulging a little too much on the lords wine that day. To say we bombed would be an understatement. We were crucified! Upside down!

The five elderly people in attendance were not very receptive to our "ridiculous" short. To make matters worse Devon wouldn't/couldn't stop laughing at the other films and pointing out how ridiculous they were while Zach and I simply hung our heads in embarrasment.
I guess it just goes to show you that we picked the correct target demographic with the internet crowd. Grandparents just don't understand.

We’re currently in production for our most ambitious project to date. The much anticipated Prime Time 3. The third and final installment in the Prime Time series, this current film stretches the boundaries not all in special effects and animation for Eyeson Entertainment staff, but also in set production and script development.

Our producer and lead animator Zach Dyer is also in the process of negotiating several more Eyeson Junior animation classes for local libraries. Teaching children about the basics of stop motion animation.
