Eyeson Animations - Previous projects

2004

Watchtower - A solo effort of animation from Zach, this short film was done one evening to test how well the Stikfas toy line worked in animated form. Using toy blocks and some Stikfas accessories a simple plot about a lone soldier trying to get to his post for guard duty was formed.

Prime Time - Taking advantage of negative fan reactions towards the then new Transformers: Armada television series Walt and Zach came up with a short film involving two favorite figures from the previous Transformers cartoon, Robots in Disguise. The plot was simple enough. R.I.D. Prime and Scourge were upset that there show had ended so they took out their frustrations on the new Armada Prime.

2005

Prime Time 2
- A sequel to the first Prime Time. At the time this was Eyeson's most ambitious project they'd undertaken. 8 1/2 minutes long this film was a huge success for the internet fan base and still receives a lot of feedback for its parodies and humor regarding the transformers universe. Screened at various fan conventions around the globe. Including Europe and Malaysia. Armada Prime returns in his Energon form and only Masterpiece Optimus Prime can stop him.

2006

War and Pieces
- This 12 1/2 minute stop motion war epic, took classic themes of army men and mixed in some sci-fi elements all while poking fun at pop culture and parodying famous bits of cinema. Winner of the 2008 U.R.I. film festival for best animation, War and Pieces pushed Eyeson to the limit at the time for special effects and animation. Also available is the Trailer and Behind the Scenes Mockumentary.

Duel of Geeks - Designed to showcase the amazing articulation of Shockinis. This choreographed fight sequence has been used at toy convention by Shocker Toys, in order to display their products in a unique and entertaining way.

2007

Fur the Win
- A parody of Transformers Generation 1 along with 80’s cartoons in general. This short was originally submitted for a contest for the highly popular “Robot Chicken” television show. Though nothing came of the contest, the short is still popular among fans as a parody of on of Megatron’s hare brained schemes.

Fours Company - The home life of a super hero must be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the home life of a family of super heroes. This little short using Marvel mini mates tells the story of a typical day in the life of the Fantastic Four. When they’re not fighting super villains, that is.

Every year Zach Dyer holds classes for the summer reading programs at local libraries in Rhode Island. Groups of kids come to learn techniques and tricks to make they’re own stop motion animated films, and provide the amateur film world with some of the strangest plots ever.

2005

Damsel in Destress -A poor maiden is trapped by a dragon. The local heroes come to rescue her, though nothing seems to go as planned.

The Penguin Hunt - A giant Penguin has been terrorizing the local villagers, fed up these would be hunter’s head to the hills to try and kill it. Only there’s “More then meets the eye” to this penguin.

2006

Spectator Sport - What starts as a friendly joust between two knights, rapidly develops into an all out brawl between the whole crowd.

Hunter Hunt - Despite the redundancy of it’s title, this short is about a small group of hunters who soon realize they’ve become the prey.

Joust Ninjas - What’s scarier then a Ninja on a motor cycle? How about 2 ninjas on motor cycles.

2007

Ravaged - Red’s new car is pretty sweet. The alarm system is even sweeter. No one is gonna mess with his wheels.

2008

Too Hard to Cross - Two knights try to cross a bridge at the same time. Neither will yield. Neither expect a sea monster to live underneath it.

Running Late - Excellion is running late, and from the law. High speed police chase, Transformers style.

2009

Check - Whoever said chess was boring?

Heading Level 3

We’re currently in production for our most ambitious project to date. The much anticipated Prime Time 3. The third and final installment in the Prime Time series, this current film stretches the boundaries not all in special effects and animation for Eyeson Entertainment staff, but also in set production and script development.

Our producer and lead animator Zach Dyer is also in the process of negotiating several more Eyeson Junior animation classes for local libraries. Teaching children about the basics of stop motion animation.
